RE-REGISTRATION DETAILS
The PRINCE2 Examination Board has determined that all PRINCE2
Practitioners should be re-registered within 3-5 years of their
original certification. This re-registration comprises a 1-hour
examination set at the same standard as the Practitioner
examination. All Practitioners who have taken the PRINCE2
Practitioner qualification since October 2000 have agreed or are
agreeing to this requirement as part of their initial application
and so are now designated as Registered Practitioners.
The registration has a validity of five years and Registered
Practitioners will be required to take a re-registration examination
to confirm their competence in the PRINCE2® Methodology before the
end of the five year period.
The Re-registration exam follows the same format as the
Practitioner exam but the Question Booklet contains three questions,
giving a total of 36 marks available, to be answered within one
hour. The pass mark is 20 (55%). Each question tests one of the
syllabus areas. A maximum of one process area will be tested in each
paper.
PREPARING FOR THE PRINCE2 RE-REGISTRATION EXAM
Although not an APM Group requirement, LearnProject recommend
that refresher training is considered as the PRINCE2® Manual has
gone through three significant updates since 2002.
